UWC the 1st UK show to introduce fighter bonuses
UWC will make history for UK MMA at UWC 19 when there will be the introduction of fighter bonuses for KO, Submission and Fight of the night. This is the 1st time that such bonuses have been introduced by a UK MMA organisation.

On Friday 4th May 2012 UWC fighter Stav "Crazy Bear" Economou made his Dubai FC debut going head to head with Former UFC HW champion Ricco Rodriguez in a bout that made Dubai history. In what was a 3 round war we are pleased to announce that UWC's very own Economou beat Rodriguez via unanimous decision.

UWC CHAMPION SIMEON "THE GRIN" THORESEN
UWC champion Simeon "the grin" Thoresen is set to make his UFC debut this Saturday at the sold out Globe Arena in Sweden, Simeon follows in the footsteps of a number of other UWC champions whom have been snapped up by the American promotion. Simeon has fought 8 times at UWC and it makes us very proud that he has gone onto the worlds biggest promotion. "Good luck in Sweden Simeon"

UWC NO INTRODUCE MANDATORY BLOOD TESTS
We are pleased to announce that UWC have now introduced mandatory blood tests for all fighters, whilst this isn't a requirement on many European shows we at UWC take all aspects of fighter safety very seriously and thus introduced this new condition to be included with our strict medicals that all fighters have to pass prior to taking part in a UWC bout.
